Change The Game

If you like Jay Z, chances are you will enjoy this album. American Soulster is Earl Flynn's third underground project and the second in his remix discography. Some listeners are convinced that Jay Z is the most gifted rapper alive to date or the best cat to touch the mic next to 2Pac. Although the project doesn't revolve around new material in addition to the focus placed on all tracks of the original LP fans of the American Gangster LP will like this new breath of soulful fresh air put into the production.
I know what you are already saying now, Not another one!! Yes that's right, what this world needs is yet another Jay-Z remix album right? If it helps any, this version gives it more of a throwback vintage soul style of production. In the project, Flynn focuses on a soul strung melodies throughout the album but does throw a curve ball with the rock-ish style on Prayerhouse Rock. Here, Flynn displays his range and hints at his affair with rock music. Although, the project does not include all 15 tracks from the American Gangster LP, he does give the 10 tracks chosen justice in the area of arrangement and sync. American Soulster wasn't created to trump all of the other Jay Z remix projects out there but it does show the efforts made to declare it an enjoyable listen.

All Things Happen For A Reason

Heading around the final lap of this long marathon that me and Blue called The Epoxy there is finally a light at the end of this tunnel. It's been a long road. We've been at work on this album for 4 years. Through it all we've seen it shape into something of various beats, tell wondrous tales of truth and pain, and undergo a slew of cast changes. Through it all we remained true to the vision of what we wanted this album to sound like and as the new additions I hand to him are approved, you will be hearing this 2 album experience very soon. Shout out to Darius Summerz for the artwork. I'm revealing a sneak peak for the first cover now but he did both covers. These were my ideas, but he holds all the credit for the strokes of the pencil, pen, and paintbrush. Bravo sir. The album features will be Trek-Life, Mercury Waters(teaming with me as our tag team The Bullets), Rell Fleezy, NY Oil, and K-Hill. These albums will not be dropped at the same time. Various Signs Of Reason will drop first as the EP, then the LP Vivid Strokes Of Reality will drop next. I can't wait for yall to feel it. Snippets will be put up soon so look for those as well.

Bullets

If there was any doubt in your mind then allow me to end them. The Bullets are alive and well and we coming. The idea of the project resumed for a track called Rock Moranis produced by his brother Choppy Chop for Mercury Water's upcoming project called "Channel Surfing". Once we finished with that song we then moved onto Jabber James and then Black Color. We put down a lot of tracks for my upcoming mixtape/lp Peep Now Or Forever Know You Sleep which you will be able to download soon.
Also, coming soon will be a name and content change for this site. What you know as weareomniverse.com will soon change to insidethelunchbox.com. There will still be OMNi related news but it will be my home site rather than the group site. Expect to see news from projects dealing with Earl Flynn, Obsidian Blue, Mercury Waters, Kil Beats, Kneegrow, Baptista,Rell Fleezy, and Inzo.
The Epoxy project should see the release of it's EP soon as the project is 95% complete. Awaiting sequencing and the cover is done as I type this. If you love anime or hand drawn art this cover should be good change of pace for folks wanting more than just the face of the artist on the cover.
Stay tuned for more updates.
